Is it just me, or does the "offseason" feel like a complete myth lately? I remember back in the day when teams would basically set their squad and just let everyone breathe for a few months before the real grind started. Now, it feels like there's a new name on the depth chart every single Tuesday at 2:00 AM.
It’s hard to tell if these constant, last-minute tweaks are actually strategic depth building or if teams are just panicking because they realized they missed something vital during the initial draft phase. I always find myself wondering if these guys are actually fighting for a legitimate spot, or if they’re just being brought in to be "camp bodies" to fill out numbers so the starters don't get exhausted during drills.
Does anyone else feel like it's getting harder to actually follow a team's progress when the lineup is basically a revolving door right up until kickoff?
