So, I’ve run into a bit of a situation with my PC and motherboard. Basically, the computer isn't showing anything on the screen, and the keyboard and mouse are totally unresponsive—it’s just dead. All I can hear is the fan spinning away, and that's about it. To give you some context, everything was working fine at first, but then right in the middle of installing Windows 7, the whole thing just gave up on me. Now I'm feeling pretty stuck. I already tried pulling the battery and messing with the CMOS jumper to reset things, but absolutely nothing happened. There's an NVIDIA graphics card in there too, but even that seems useless since I can't get a signal through it either. I'm starting to wonder... did the motherboard just kick the bucket? I know it's not the monitor, because I tested it on another computer and it works perfectly fine.
