Why is my message count dropping?

Just to be clear, I don't care about my total post count, but I noticed 15 posts just vanished from my stats today. And no, this isn't the first time—my count keeps dropping.

All I want to know is: are threads being deleted or moved to subforums where they don't count toward the tally? Basically, are those 15 posts gone forever, or were they just hidden from the average user's view?

Usually, this happens because the subforum you were posting in got moved over to a section where posts don't actually count toward your total, so they basically just vanish from your postcount.
If they were deleted, then yeah, you aren't seeing them anymore. But if they just got moved to one of those areas where the tally doesn't track, you should still be able to find them on your profile, though I think it only shows up to about 300 posts or something.

I’ve just finished doing a little spring cleaning in the "Law" and "jobs and career" subforums. I moved several threads over to the "Archive" section, where comment counts aren't publicly displayed (though they remain fully visible to the administration). That likely explains the slight dip you're seeing in the total comment count.👍

I’ve noticed a few of the moderators deleting my posts lately... is there a way to actually file a complaint about this?
