Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well πŸ™‚
I don't want to take up too much of your time, so I'll just jump right into it.
My legs are covered in these tiny little dots that look almost like small mites, some of them have these tiny red crusty spots on top while others don't... and I know they aren't ingrown hairs, because I don't even bother shaving above my knees since the hair there is so fine and light...
Now I'm starting to wonder if it might be caused by wearing tight leggings or jeans, especially since my legs tend to swell up a bit, and it seems even worse when I've been sitting with my legs crossed for a while... 🀷
I am planning to go see a dermatologist, but before I do, I wanted to check in here to see if anyone else has dealt with something similar, and if you did, how exactly did you get rid of it?? πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
Thanks πŸ™‚

keratosis pilaris? 🀷 or just clean skin.

Sounds like that to me based on the description.

So, my legs are covered in these little dotsβ€”they kind of look like tiny mites? Some have these little red crusty bits on top, and some don't... It's definitely not ingrown hairs, because I don't even bother shaving above my knees since the hair there is super fine and light...
Now, I'm sitting here thinking, maybe it's from wearing tight jeans? You know, how the skin gets all squeezed, especially when you sit cross-legged... 🀷
I'm planning to head to a dermatologist, but I wanted to check in here firstβ€”has anyone else dealt with this? If you did, how'd you fix it?? πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
Thanks! πŸ™‚

Oh my gosh, this is literally my life story πŸ™„
Even though people say it actually dries out your skin more, baby powder has honestly helped me way more than those fancy lotions ever did
Lately, creams just seem to irritate my skin even worse, but the powder really settles everything down and makes it feel okay
And, well, it’s way cheaper than all those different moisturizers, so maybe it's worth giving a shot
Personally, after I shave, I go a bit overboard with itβ€”I end up looking like a ghost, haha! But whatever, it's fine, it doesn't matter. At least it works, unlike all those various creams or milks I used to buy. I'd grab several bottles of one thing, and then my skin would just sting and burn from everything, and by the next day, my legs looked even worse than if I hadn't put anything on at all. So, yeah... seriously, just try it.

Yeah, it’s pretty much the same deal as those chickenpox or measles rashes, except it doesn't look like a full-blown breakout to me, just these tiny little red spots scattered around...

Nancy Mitchell3: I'm going to try using some baby powder😁
Though I have noticed there are tons of different remedies floating around online for clearing up skin irritation like this...
Does anyone else have any advice or suggestions??
