Hey everyone—I feel like I’ve posted here a hundred times already, but hopefully this is the last one. 😁
So, here’s the deal: I’m dealing with some pretty stubborn dandruff. I’ve tried basically everything you can find at a CVS or Walgreens—everything from Head & Shoulders to Garnier, even Sebamed—but nothing seems to touch it. A guy actually suggested I try ionic silver—specifically that Bionect Silverspray mentioned in the title. My issue isn't really my hair itself, but more my scalp; it feels like there's some kind of fungal thing going on. I read online that since this spray is antibacterial, it might help clear up whatever is causing the flakes. It’s definitely not cheap for just a 50ml bottle $50 which is 😢... well, yeah. Anyway, I just applied it—sprayed it on and rubbed it into my scalp—but I have a nagging feeling I just threw my money down the drain. Has anyone else here actually used this spray on their scalp?
Also, a quick request to the mods: please don't move this thread. No one has replied to the other dandruff discussion in months, so I'd really appreciate it if we could keep it here. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked out this thread? It focuses on seborrhea and seborrheic dermatitis—conditions involving dandruff, which is actually linked to the Pityrosporum ovale yeast.

From what I can see, the last post there was from April 2012, so you're clearly looking at the wrong discussion. 😉

A lot of people on that thread complained about trying practically EVERYTHING only to still deal with the issue, leading to debates over various products and shared experiences. I’d suggest giving it a read (specifically the more recent posts toward the end).

I actually posted about this exact issue before—I laid out the whole problem—but I never got a single response. So, I’m asking the admins once more: please don't move this thread. I'd really appreciate it if you could just let it stay where it is. 🙂
