Look, I play Moneyline and spreads—that’s fine by me. Man, I am seriously looking forward to tonight's matchup. It feels like we’re in for some high-octane, super entertaining hoops. I’ve been pulling for this Oakland squad for a few seasons now—I really believe in the talent they have on the roster—but they just haven't quite figured out how to pull it all together on the court yet. It would be so great to see them finally catch a roll and make a real splash in the playoffs, but I guess we’ll have to see how they handle this one first. 😁
Andre Ellis definitely hasn't found his rhythm since the season kicked off, and Stephen Curry has been dealing with those nagging injury issues, which doesn't help. For me, Andrew Lee seems to be the only real constant right now; he’s put up some solid performances here and there. On the other side, OKC is absolutely tearing it up. If Russ can just get his head in the game, they might actually be the favorites in the West, though I wonder how far they can go once they run into the Heat or the Bulls. Kevin Durant is just an absolute beast, though he does seem to stay pretty chill during clutch moments. They actually managed to take down the Portland Trail Blazers yesterday in what was easily one of the toughest road trips in the league at the Rose Garden. Since this is a back-to-back for them, I honestly think it’s worth taking the under, especially since the margin looks pretty wide.

I've been following this thread since about page 86, but I haven't really chimed in yet. 😁 Anyway, I tried this out yesterday and it went pretty smoothly. 🙂

Kevin Durant averages 27 points, but he bumps that up to 29 on the road—mostly because they just don't run teams off the court as much away from home. I’m expecting a high-scoring affair here; the line is set at 205, and I really think both teams will blow past that. The main scorers for Oklahoma City are Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and you can probably count James Harden in there too. I wouldn't bet on Westbrook going huge, though, since the Golden State Warriors have the 2nd best perimeter defense in the league, giving up only 16.6 points per game. Plus, their home defense against big men is elite, allowing a measly 13.5 points. So, if Russell Westbrook struggles tonight, it’s all on Kevin Durant to pick up the slack. That alone makes this a solid play for me, but there's more: Golden State has the worst small forward defense in the league, giving up 21.8 points per game, and they surrender a whopping 23.4 at home. I think Kevin Durant is going to absolutely tear them apart tonight.

Does anyone know if Ellis is suited up tonight? I don't see him listed on the DraftKings board. If he stays out, I'm taking the over on Curry at 18.5.

I’m also eyeing the overs for Jennings, Granger, and Westbrook tonight... though I’m second-guessing myself since the lines are so low. I might even look at the under on total points for Boston-Charlotte—maybe under 177.5, or even Charlotte under 81.5.

I’m going to try something today... though honestly, nothing feels certain anymore in this NBA. It's just the same old story with injuries, damn it.

The Pacers are heading into this one without their backup playmaker, Hill, and frankly, their starter, Collison, has been struggling big time lately. He’s averaging a measly five assists, and he didn't record a single one in his last outing. Because of that, I see a clear edge for Utah. While the odds for a home win are the same, I think we could see an upset here—don't go thinking Utah is an easy walk in the park.
Miami Heat - Cleveland Cavaliers 2 @ 1.85
In their last nine games, Miami hasn't exactly blown anyone out by more than 12 points. It’s going to be a tough task against a Cleveland squad that’s playing some seriously high-quality basketball; they just took down the Boston Celtics recently and even managed to beat Dallas.
Dallas Mavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder 2 @ 1.75
The home team isn't exactly bad, but I simply don't see them having enough gas in the tank to handle Oklahoma City.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Sacramento Kings 2 @ 1.30
I'm leaning toward this pick because the home team will be missing their leading scorer, Kevin Love. When you have a guy who can drop 30 points on any given night, replacing that production is a massive mountain to climb.
