I was pretty gutted after that loss against Mexico, honestly, but after tossing and turning for two nights straight and seeing us snag the bronze today, I’m feeling completely satisfied. That makes ten medals at major tournaments. It’s nothing short of a miracle!

We played like absolute garbage against the Mexicans, mostly because the atmosphere felt like a total mob mentality situation. It’s incredibly tough to perform when you feel like you're walking into a lion's den. It was basically a case of 'forget the game, just try to walk away in one piece.' And let's be real, those Mexican players nearly knocked their own guy's eye out—imagine what they would have done to our boys!

Still, seeing our flag waving there in Belgrade was something else, and the guys, just giving the middle finger to those Neanderthals, belted out "Call me, call me..." at the top of their lungs.

It’s a real shame we won't be facing them in London. We would have absolutely dismantled them, probably winning by ten or fifteen points easy.
