No, not really—he’s definitely had better runs than this. You're probably thinking of those times when he was playing through an injury, and I never said he wasn't good, but—I don't know—he could have been so much more effective if there were more plays going through players like Balli. I'm not just talking about Lackovic's scoring, either. If you actually follow handball, you know how many assists Laco usually racks up compared to Vori. When he isn't finding the net, he's setting others up, but he just didn't have that rhythm during this tournament.

And honestly, if we actually had a top-tier coach in charge, those 4s and 5s would probably just be 1s and 2s!

Nice work, guys. I used to think Goluža was a complete amateur on the level of Joka Vranković, but after watching this championship, I have to admit he’s actually got some talent. Maybe there's real potential there after all.

I just realized this—and I’m basing this on maybe two, okay, three games. Meanwhile, Lazarov ended up with nothing but that top scorer title. The EHF 🙏

Goluža really shut the critics up with that degree. He wasn't even to blame for how the last championship went—you just can't win at handball without a solid goalie. I actually love hearing him step up during timeouts. Honestly, guys like Čupić, Duvnjak, Štrlek, Alilović, and Horvat could still carry the national team for another five years easily. Respect to them.🙂

Regarding the bronze medal, it’s always nicer to end a tournament on a high note. In my experience, it actually happens quite often that the team walking away with bronze celebrates more enthusiastically than the ones who just grabbed silver. 😬

That’s exactly what I was pointing out at the end of the game. The silver medalists looked absolutely depressed during the trophy presentation right after the match, while the bronze winners were looking totally refreshed and thrilled. 😍Let's go, Team USA!🎉
