Hi everyone! I’m running into a bit of an issue with my PC lately—it’s getting incredibly loud. Is there any way to pick up some quieter fans? Right now, this thing sounds like a jet engine taking off in my room. To be fair, the cooling is actually performing beautifully; my CPU stays under 80 degrees, the GPU doesn't top 100, and the motherboard is sitting pretty at a cool 65. It's working perfectly, it just won't stop buzzing! I am definitely open to any and all suggestions on how to quiet this machine down. Thanks so much!

Could you give me a little more info? Which fan is being too loud? You might want to pop off the side panel of your case to check—or maybe try dialing back the fan speeds in your BIOS... Once you drop your full PC specs here, we can really dig into this.

If those fans are plugged directly into the motherboard, you should be able to manually adjust their RPM settings through the BIOS or software.
If they're pulling 12V straight from the power supply, you have a few workarounds. The easiest fix? Tapping them at 7V; they’ll run much quieter while still providing enough airflow to keep things cool.
