...look, I'm not a moderator, but this honestly feels more like a blatant advertisement than an actual plea for help for the dogs at the local shelter!
It goes without saying that not everyone is on Facebook!
And if you're going to write it like this, you should at least mention that DM is sponsoring this so people understand why their link is posted first.
The way this thread is set up is totally wrong and it actually makes people want to look away!
It would have been so much nicer to approach this differently... maybe introduce us to the folks over at the Friends Shelter so we can actually see the amazing work they do.
Then, after building that connection, you could ask for the supplies the dogs actually need.
The people at Friends work themselves to the bone; they're looking after over 250 dogs out there. They need everything under the sun, but please, let's just present ourselves with a bit of class.
