ASUS > Products > Motherboard Series, look for the G31M-GS (there are two different revisions) OR
reboot the PC, tap F2 to get into the BIOS setup utility, go to Advanced, then IDE configuration, and switch it to "Premium"
just follow the same steps you laid out in your previous post #5871

just redo everything you mentioned in your previous post #5871

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.as...G31M-GS%20R2.0 I found the ? and it’s already set to '' Premium '' ... basically it's just set that way by default ... but it keeps throwing some kind of error at me ... I seriously don't get it ... I've combed through the BIOS a bunch of times but I can't find the trick to make it work... I'm guessing I need to configure the HDD. Like what happened last week when I had to deal with it, but I have no clue how to do it. Man, Keith Bennett38 said something too, who knows if that would actually work for me ... I honestly don't know, I've fried three different mice and not a single one works :S I'm totally exhausted, man, this just won't stop....... ugh! This sucks!

here are the links for the issue, hope it's not against the rules to dump these here, I just uploaded a few shots so you can see (sorry if I'm being a nuisance with the posting style lol) but just look at those four images and tell me what you think is going wrong. maybe you'll catch onto the problem...
