Hey everyone, I could really use some advice here. This Sunday, my 10-year-old kid is having his First Communion, and honestly, I’m struggling with the whole thing. I really don't want to blow a massive chunk of change—I'm thinking anything over $50 is pushing it. It’s just one of those things where you feel the pressure to spend, but I'm trying to be smart about it. The kid isn't exactly the type to care about flashy jewelry or some religious trinket that’s just going to sit on a shelf gathering dust. On the flip side, I hate the idea of just handing him a wad of cash; he’s at that age where he'll probably just grab some toy or a video game and completely forget who actually gave him the money in the first place. I want to give him something meaningful, something that sticks with him, you know? Like, something he can actually look back on years from now without it feeling like a chore. My brain is totally fried on this—help me out, I am seriously running out of ideas!🤷
