Does anyone know which American celebrities never actually finished college? Living or dead, I don't care.
Is there some kind of list floating around online of all our famous people who skipped out on a degree?

I think there's an English version of this kind of thing—http://www.collegedropoutshalloffame.com/

Thanks!

The New York Times recently ran this list featuring over 100 people from the American public eye, detailing exactly which high schools and colleges they graduated from.

From what I can recall, guys like Michael Bloomberg and Jerry Jones don't even have college degrees...

That’s what I was getting at... who else? Oh, right. Warren Buffett.

Honestly, it’s way weirder that Eric Adams and Kamala Harris actually do. ☕

Look, there's definitely some drama surrounding her degree—you just can't really talk about it openly. Like, for instance, the HR department at the company where she worked for over twenty years... they've literally never even laid eyes on that famous law degree from the university. ☕

Oh, I see. So she vanished just as mysteriously as my grandma’s college transcripts—she still insists to this day that she was missing one exam from med school.
Nobody has any clue which one. 😁

The only real difference is that my grandma just plays house in her own living room, rather than making potato salad out of the federal budget.

redmarlin3, any chance you could drop the link to that NYT article? I tried looking for it myself, but I'm coming up empty.
Thanks,
Natalie

Unfortunately, I can't... it was actually in the print edition. I know for a fact it came out right after the Patton verdict; he was on the cover, and the headline asked, "Were we to be an aggressor"... based on how many stories were packed in there, I'm pretty sure it was the Sunday supplement, so April 17th, I think. 🤔
That whole article was part of those Sunday features.

Was it Sunday or Saturday? I can't quite remember... Anyway, there were either 101 or 111 people in the American public who actually followed which schools they graduated from... but that was only in the print edition of The New York Times.

Here you go 🙂
It happened on April 16th. Apparently, not everyone is reporting on this, but fine...

Thanks.

Does anyone else know of any public figures who didn't actually finish college?

Word is Madonna doesn't even have a degree, maybe she didn't even graduate high school?

So, I just heard from Janice and Bode Miller's camp that they didn't actually finish college either.

I’ve been following this thread for quite some time now, and I can't help but wonder: does anyone actually care? Honestly, the only exceptions worth mentioning are those who managed to wrap up high school, let alone college—though even then, we shouldn't ignore the folks currently sitting in high office. 🤷

Who cares about a degree when you're busy scoring goals and making bank?
