For the past three days, I’ve been cycling all over Washington, D.C., and I’ve started noticing this strange stinging sensation across my knuckles and my face while I'm riding. It doesn't even seem to matter if it's sunny or freezing out; the sensation persists even when I'm off the bike, almost as if moisture is constantly condensing right on the surface of my skin.

I tried asking the people around me if they ever experience anything similar, but honestly, everyone just laughed in my face.

I actually hopped off my bike just fifteen minutes ago, and the heat radiating from my hands is still incredibly intense.

I asked everyone I know if they feel the same way, and honestly, they all just laughed at me.?!?

Just hopped off my bike about 15 minutes ago and my hands are already feeling hot.

Look, tell me when you actually start walking or biking—basically any physical activity that gets you even slightly sweaty—how long does it take for those skin sensations to kick in? Is it immediate, or does it happen once you've been sweating for a few minutes? And does this stuff show up when you're just sitting still, like watching TV?

Does it happen instantly, or only once you’ve broken a light sweat after a few minutes? Furthermore, does this ever manifest while you're just sitting still, perhaps watching a show on Netflix?

After observing my own patterns more closely today, I’ve noticed that this only seems to trigger when I'm out in the fresh air. It doesn't seem to care about the lighting conditions or whether I'm standing in the shade, nor does it seem to be dictated by the temperature outside; it happens just as readily in the bright afternoon sun as it does tonight, even though it's gotten significantly colder.

Hey everyone, jumping in here because I’m dealing with something pretty similar. When I'm just chilling at home in my apartment, everything is fine. But the second I hop on my bike, go for a brisk walk, or start a workout, this stinging sensation hits my whole body. It starts around my waist and moves upward, hitting my arms, neck, back, and sometimes even my head. My takeaway is that it triggers whenever I start warming up somehow. I'm not sure why, so I'm sticking around to see if anyone has answers.😲🤷🤷
