I’m asking the administrators and mods to step in here. Anyone turning the thread about the earthquake in Japan into an unreadable mess filled with conspiracy theories, HAARP nonsense, and other garbage should be handed a light ban. They've turned a serious discussion about a disaster into a complete joke.
The thread in question is this one:

Out of 12 pages, at least 10 of them are nothing but talk about HAARP, the Illuminati, and various other delusions.
Thanks in advance.

Look, the topic is filed under "Alternatives," not "Hard Science," so calling it some kind of joke is missing the point entirely. It’s just a different way of looking at things. Of course people are going to write about stuff like HAARP, or how those particle streams from the LHC might affect the poles or shift the Earth's spin axis... so what? Let people express their ideas.🤷

Listen, if there's any way to make this happen, could we maybe get a banner or just a visible link posted somewhere with phone numbers and other ways to help folks over in Japan. This is an extreme situation. I think anyone who caught the football games today knows they all started with a minute of silence. I've added a link to my signature, so if someone has the permissions, maybe please put a notice up for the whole forum. I know the US isn't exactly swimming in extra cash right now, but I don't think that's really the point here...

Thanks a lot, cheers

TSA said:If this actually happens, I’d appreciate it if the administrators could let me capitalize my username.
Thanks.🙂

That isn't what we're discussing here—the conversation is actually about the earthquake in Japan 😬, though if you head over to this PDF, you'll find the main thread for nicknames where you can post whatever you like.😉
Edit: Someone beat me to the punch 🙂
