placidranger said:It is truly staggering, isn't it? To witness such an intense reaction to mere artistic expression. 😁

They simply fail to grasp the essence of the matter.

placidranger said:How exactly are people able to reside in the heart of the capital, especially when they are Americans of the Catholic faith? What kind of devilry is actually happening in this city? Is there not supposed to be some sort of beautiful face to behold?

I have two theories.
Should we not consider it fundamental that women residing in Caesarica be referred to as Caesaricas? 😲 And they are renowned for their sheer beauty, aren't they?
Is it not more accurate to suggest that she was actually an Empress—an Austrian one, if we are being precise about her lineage? One has to wonder, given the historical context, whether such women truly possessed any notable beauty.
Shall we take a look?

Is there anything quite as iconic as the legendary Casio? 🙏
As for me, I would place Blue by Eiffel 65 within my top two rankings.

placidranger said:( 🤔 how would you describe your work?)

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure! But let's start with the biggest influences on my work as the band Slayer.

The first and most significant influence is the group The Sonics, as you could already hear from what was attached. We all love them. Hopefully. Anyone who doesn't probably listens to some terrible garage rock or something equally awful. Maybe The Clash.

The Sonics 👍

Haustor 👎

The rest of our sound relies quite heavily on the work of the Ramones and Goblin. Perhaps even Chrome at times.

Basically, back in the day when this forum actually made sense (never) and wasn't under the dictatorial boot of insignificant moderator types (also never), a legendary forum regular, Ivica NARANTXA, dubbed our sharp and sinister synergy -> TARDCORE.

There it is.

Slayer is TARDCORE.

But let's get back to the queens.

Sure, number one looks pretty decent—aside from having a bit too much empty space between his head and shoulders.

I’m not familiar with any of those bands mentioned above.
"TARDCORE" actually sounds alright. ("tardcore enthusiast" doesn't quite hit the same way, so I'll avoid asking "how does a tardcore enthusiast craft their sound?"—those days of catchy genre labels like rock or punk are long gone.)
Where was I...

Oh! Say something about the creative process. How long does it actually take to make something? Are we talking hours, days, weeks? You sit down at the Casio and then what?

Unlike Lovro's project—which I actually fund out of my own pocket. 👍

Whatever. Look, I just want to see how the man operates.
Did you buy him a drink or something?

Which is definitely not how I feel about fffrend Lovro's project—I'm actually putting my own hard-earned cash into supporting him! 👍

But seriously, where'd you get all that money, huh? Man, I wish I had a chunk of that sitting in my bank account! 🙂

I actually wrote this a little while ago and for some reason never hit publish:
Man, fffrend Lovro makes music that, honestly, the first time I heard it, I just wasn't feeling it at all—but now that I've given it a second listen, it's actually sounding pretty decent! 😲
Though, don't take my word for it—I mean, I almost never actually enjoy listening to My bloody Valentine, even though I pretend they're amazing all the time! 😳
On the flip side, I absolutely cannot stand that band with the similar name, Bullet for My Valentine... I swear, I'd love to go over there and give them a good old-fashioned stomp! You guys can join me if you want!

And hey, in case anyone forgot or doesn't know, the absolute greatest thread this forum has ever seen is Brenda Scott14 vs. the buses (spoiler alert: the buses survived 😢 at least a few 😈)

On this historic day for American skiing, I find myself wanting to wish my dear friend fffrend Lovro—who is practically the apple of my eye—a very happy birthday.

HAPPY ROCKY'S

with a small note: you’ve gone from being a total amateur in the slalom to an absolute legend on the slopes.

🙂 😍 🙂

I invite you all to join me in wishing our favorite musician a wonderful birthday! 👍

Listen up, dear fans—though I suppose they belong to fffrend Lovro rather than me—there is more news regarding the upcoming tape release!
I refuse to call it a tape; I loathe that word.

[fffrend Lovro] Hi, we are a brand new label; we have already released two tapes, one being LE CHOMAGE/ SIDA and a Christmas tape featuring Crash Normal, Fag Cop, Yussuf Jerusalem, JC Satan, Beat Mark, etc. We are going to release a new split tape with Trans Upper Egypt and we would like to include you on the B-side; would you be interested, and could you send over perhaps four or five songs?
[fffrend Lovro] His English is purely fluid French.

A few inquiries for fffrend Lovro:

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM THIS RELEASE?
WHAT DRIVES YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
DO YOU CREATE A MOOD OR INSPIRATION BOARD LIKE some fashion blogger?

1. I’m planning on taking a slightly different approach to the soundscapes, drawing inspiration from those synth-heavy Krautrock bands like Can or Neu!, but giving it a much sharper edge -> shitkraut*. I also want to record a 20-minute track for my tapes that serves as my own personal reinterpretation of a great movie I watched recently.

2. movies

4. Not really, but I'm always down to try something new!

Hey everyone!

*I'm actually aiming to weave in elements of black metal, doom, garage punk, and post-punk too.

Dear friends of this imagethread,
what news could there be?
I find myself sitting here at my computer image
listening to Slayer.

What occupies your time?
Are you out protesting? image Watching some skiing? image Maintaining a healthy diet? image

I truly hope fffrend Lovro is busy working on new music image and that we shall all gather quite soon at his next concert image to lose ourselves in frantic dancing image and shared affection image, which is, I believe, the very essence of music.

Your friend,

I mean, there’s no way he’s working on any new tracks yet because he hasn't even shown up at MicroKorg 😬
