Who should be the next mod for VIC?

Look, I get it—mods aren't elected by popular vote, and this forum isn't exactly running on a democratic system, but I’m genuinely curious if they'll actually let this poll go through. It doesn't force anyone to do anything, it’s just a way to see what the regular folks here actually think about things.

Honestly, I should just show up to the polls, draw a middle finger, and drop it in the ballot box. Why isn't that an option yet?

The Jokes subreddit is a complete mess because of how they’re handling things. The moderators don't seem to have any tools in their kit other than handing out bans or just locking threads entirely. It used to be that everything ran smoothly without anyone complaining, but ever since the moderators stepped in with these "interventions," the whole system has broken down. It makes you wonder where the actual breakdown is happening—is it with the regular users or the moderation team? Honestly, you have to look at the cause and effect here: the current behavior of the community is a direct result of how the moderators are acting, not the reason for it.
