Moderator PowerLock, regarding the thread about a potential attack on Iran, you’ve mentioned the execution of those two men based on their sexual orientation several times, even though it was pointed out multiple times that they were actually killed because of the rape of a thirteen-year-old boy.

This is the post that I believe deserves a ban for trolling. Thanks for looking into this... and for whatever fair decision comes from it.

If I can jump in—I don’t have all the facts, but from what I know, it’s highly likely they were executed because of their sexual orientation. If they had actually raped a 13-year-old girl, they’d still be breathing—just saying. Sorry if that's a bit blunt.

I honestly believe you both are completely off base, and frankly, I don't think this entire thread should have even been started in the first place.
I’d also like to formally request that the admins implement a pre-approval system for posts in this section, ensuring that only high-quality content and meaningful topics actually make it through.

Moderator Powerlock has almost completely derailed this fascinating discussion about Iran by constantly veering off-topic.
Take a look at one of his posts here:

I’m not sure if this is what passes for exemplary moderation these days, but I truly don't understand why this kind of tangent is being tolerated. On a thread specifically about a nuclear strike on Iran, he’s somehow managed to bring up sentencing sex offenders or deportation to Brazil—topics that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand... for the tenth time now. After asking him several times to please stay on track, I filed a report on that specific post, yet nothing happened. I have to wonder where these reports even go... straight to him, since he holds the moderator title?

And then there are the various attempts at trolling, not to mention those...

It seems true... PowerLock allows himself certain liberties that he begrudges everyone else, all while busy handing out lectures and penalties to anyone else who dares to step out of line!

I’m asking the admins to step in regarding the threads on France and Rome—specifically to stop the trolling from moderator Powerlock and put an end to his blatant abuse of the authority he’s been given.

He’s constantly overstepping his bounds to push fascist ideologies, hate speech, and incitement to violence—all of which are strictly prohibited under US federal law and carry serious legal consequences.

I expect an official statement from the administration detailing what actions are being taken here; otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to escalate this entire matter to the relevant US authorities.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve been reading this thread about certain minority groups and I honestly can't believe my eyes. moderator Powerlock claims he’s deleting off-topic posts from other users, yet in this very same thread, he’s typing stuff like, "The Crusades were a noble response to the occupation of the Holy Land," "That's why my civilization is stronger than all others," and "People like that should be beaten and driven out, just like those who would build a mosque where the Twin Towers stood in New York"... it’s basically the same Übermensch, xenophobic, off-topic nonsense we saw in the thread about Iran.

Is there any way to find out what criteria the higher-ups actually use when choosing moderators? A few years back, I was even offered a moderator position myself, but I turned it down because I didn't want the headache. It seems like moderator Powerlock holds some pretty "radical" views—which isn't necessarily the issue—but his ego is so massive that I truly don't understand why he was given any authority at all.

This whole forum is just a private playground for bigots.

And clearly, the mods, admins, and even the owner are fine with it.

Is anyone actually going to do something about this—or am I really going to have to take this to the FBI?
