So, here’s how I think you could do it. You just pick something you're really into—let's say Pokémon, for example—and head over to Google to search for it. Once the results pop up, you can use the image search options on the side to filter by size, like large, medium, or small. If you select the small images option, you should get a bunch of little avatars to choose from, though you'd probably want to make sure they stay under that 50x50 limit if you're looking for something specific.

Wondering where to find some icons or how to actually set up an avatar?
For the first part, just check out this thread from the very beginning.

How do I set an animated avatar?
I saved an animated avatar to my computer, but it's just a still image without any movement... can someone please tell me how to actually make it work?

If the file size exceeds the limit—say, if it’s 80x80 or hits 30kb—the forum just shrinks it down automatically... which means your animated avatar ends up being nothing more than a static little thumbnail.

I’m looking for some guidance from the moderation team regarding a quick technicality. 😕
I uploaded an animated avatar, and initially, everything seemed fine. However, I later spotted a note from Jacob Foster11 stating: "Please ensure avatars stay within the permitted limits (50x50px; 9.8KB)." 😲>
Here is the catch: my file is 9.846 KB. It technically exceeds the 9.8 KB limit by a tiny margin, even though the dimensions are exactly 50x50 px as required. While the avatar worked perfectly for a few moments, I decided to pull it down until I can confirm whether using it puts me at risk of any penalties. 🤷>
Thanks in advance for the help.
Best regards. 👋>

Hilarious. If your avatar is too large, the forum won't even let you upload it. If it actually goes up, then there isn't a problem.

My thanks to Jacob Foster11 for the incredibly quick response and for stepping up to help out everyone here. 🙏
