Nescafé or Turkish coffee?

Turkish Coffee in the morning is non-negotiable, and the same goes for the afternoon. In between, I might snack on whatever junk comes out of a vending machine.

Is it just me, or do all these users with the dark avatars generally skip "real" coffee for some overpriced, fancy nonsense? 😁

Honestly, everything is sitting at 17 right now because I accidentally hit the button for the regular brew instead of my Nescafe espresso. 🤣 😬

I’m currently sipping on some Turkish Coffee 🙂

Espresso.
Just a tiny splash of milk, no sugar.

If that’s not an option, I'll settle for some Turkish Coffee.

As for this Ness cappuccino that tastes like absolute garbage, I wouldn't even call it coffee. 😁

I usually lean toward Nescafe. When I’m sitting down with a traditional socar, I prefer it light—just black, without any milk or sugar. ☕

Espresso, Turkish Coffee, or drip. I don't really consider instant coffee actual coffee, so I never touch it. Instant stuff is like those cheap magazines—why bother with a piece of paper when there are real women everywhere? ☕

I just can't bring myself to fall for Nescafe or give it a real chance... For me, it's still all about Turkish Coffee 😍

Interesting enough.
For what feels like a billion years, I lived on nothing but traditional stovetop coffee, and honestly, it was great. You know how it is—there’s *the* coffee, the kind that actually means something.😁
Then, I finally gave Nescafé a shot. It was love at first sip. 🙂

My only gripe is when they serve it in those cheap diners made with nothing but straight milk.👎

I've actually walked away from a Nescafe at a cafe more than once without even taking a sip, just because the way they prepared it looked totally revolting, like it would actually make my stomach turn... maybe if someone makes it at home it's fine, but out in public, no way...😢

Personally, when I'm at a pub, I'll stick to a standard coffee with milk. I've pretty much given up on the instant stuff altogether.

I used to drink my Ness with water, milk, and sugar for about 15 years straight—it was my whole routine—but then, about two years ago, it just started making me feel terrible. So, I finally quit drinking homemade coffee altogether. Now? I only get my fix at the local brewery! Honestly, those fancy flavored cappuccinos they serve everywhere make me want to gag.

Nescafe and all its endless variations. I could never get into Turkish Coffee. Honestly, I don't even know how to make it right.

Compared to a real espresso, everything else is just total garbage. You aren't getting any actual extraction without at least 15 bars of pressure—you can tell by that thick, velvety crema sitting right on top.

Beyond that, Turkish Coffee is decent enough, though I much prefer the authentic stuff—where you pour the grounds into cold water—over those watered-down versions you find lying around.

As for Nescafe, the standard stuff tastes like an oil byproduct, but Nescafe espresso is actually pretty alright; if you cram a few extra spoonfuls into a tiny bit of water, you can actually trick yourself into thinking you're drinking real coffee.

I haven't touched coffee in over a decade, but back when I did, it was always straight shots—no sugar, no cream, no nonsense.
Now, tea is my go-to.
