For the Dainty Moderator

Hey everyone, I’m new to the community. About a week ago, I started a new thread asking people to post those photos that ended up getting deleted—I honestly thought I hadn't formatted the thread correctly the first time, so I tried posting it again, and the moderator slapped me with a ban immediately.
Is there any way to formally appeal this? I was locked out for an entire week because of it.
In my opinion, a full week-long ban was a massive overreaction for a simple mistake.
If there's a process for this, where should I go?

Where can I go to change my username? I noticed she's pretty picky about hers and has already swapped it a few times... so, I don't know. Is it actually possible to change a username on here?
