Honestly, this was one of the main things that made this forum better than all the others. I don't see any point in getting rid of it...

Actually, I do. It basically gave people a free pass to stalk one another.
Look, I get it—true privacy doesn't really exist on the internet anymore. But why should anyone be allowed to hunt down my entire history and read every single thing I've ever posted? 🤷
Now, I’m not saying I’m exactly the most riveting person on the web, but I know plenty of people who sign up for these boards for one reason and one reason only: to keep tabs on someone they already know. And of course, they never actually contribute anything to the conversation. They just lurk. 🙄

I honestly think this is such a fantastic idea. It’ll make things so much easier for the mods—they'll be able to hand out way more warnings since people are constantly reopening old threads that are basically impossible to dig up without using the search bar...
