It's interesting. You now have the chance to show those posts where moderators get away with everything without being punished. Yet, so far, there hasn't been a single one posted. (I'm not saying they don't exist, it's just obvious that none of you actually care...)

I honestly have no clue what the process is for picking mods and admins around here, but let me tell you, it’s 100% rigged and corrupt. Thank God we're joining the EU soon; maybe they'll have a rulebook that actually covers stuff like: "unpunished abuse of power on a public forum just because you grabbed a Starbucks together or hit up a party back in 2007."

Look, I get it—fine, let's say there isn't some official deputy mod stepping up, or maybe there aren't any volunteers willing to take one for the team, whatever. But the thing is? They exist. Look, since you seem so eager to get answers, let me lay it out for you—are you actually friends with most of the moderators and admins on this site, or just an acquaintance? Because it feels like there’s this weird shield around certain people... I gotta know, do you guys have some secret handshake or internal rulebook where the admins promise to protect their buddies no matter what and just toss user complaints straight into the trash?

What is even the point of this PDF if there isn’t going to be any actual discussion? Honestly, they might as well just turn the whole thing into a collection of photos featuring anatomy... that way, interested hunters like an incredibly frustrated little bear won't waste their precious time.🤷

It’s honestly weird/just plain hilarious to me.

This subforum is supposed to be a place where the admins check in regularly to see what needs fixing and why people are filing complaints, but I swear, I haven't seen a single admin show up with an actual answer since I started posting here.

I’ll bet my bottom dollar on a federal regulation before the Capitol ever decides to acknowledge or crack down on the sheer amount of laziness hiding in its own ranks.
But man, it’s always such a circus whenever someone tries to call out a moderator. It’s almost funny how consistent everyone is about being incredibly defensive.
At least it makes for decent reading, especially when you see those other mods jumping in to defend their colleagues. Their posts usually end up being even more precious than the original complaint. image

This thread is basically an open invitation for you to start making posts just like that. If you actually read what was said, you could have easily copied it, quoted it, or even taken a screenshot. But you didn't. It’s much easier to just flame people and make fun of the situation. 😉

I didn't know anyone before I was chosen, and I haven't met anyone since. Protection isn't a thing. There are no internal rules. This is all just convenient fodder for you to troll. 😉 The post above is a perfect example.

The thread isn't yielding any results. We've gone through so many posts now, and yet not a single one includes a screenshot, a direct quote, or even a link to the specific post where the moderator went overboard.

Sorry, this wasn't supposed to be an argument. Just like how this thread is turning into something it shouldn't be. When a moderator or admin eventually steps in to close it again, people will probably complain that we're shutting things down for no reason. 😉

Exactly. This thread was opened so specific complaints could be aired, if there were any. But instead, we've had two pages of bickering without a single actual complaint being made. Since there aren't any, the thread will be closed. Besides, if you have a legitimate grievance regarding a moderator's action, you should be opening a new thread for that anyway.
