Hey everyone... I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with a quick question...πŸ˜‰

I'm planning to go donate blood tomorrowβ€”but the thing is, I used some marijuana this past Saturday... I heard a rumor that it stays detectable in your system for about six months, which sounds pretty intense? I guess I'm just wondering if that's actually true, and what might happen if I go through with the donation and it shows up on the test...??

I’d bet money it’s impossible!😬
I don't even stumble across hard drugs unless I'm specifically looking for them... let alone weed.

"Marijuana," or specifically THC, remains detectable in your bloodstream for about two weeks. However, it will only show up if you opt for a targeted toxicology screen, which comes with an extra fee.
Even if they run a tox screen and find traces of THC, there are no legal repercussions for you. In the States, consumption itself isn't a crimeβ€”only possession is.
Don't worry.πŸ˜‰
