So, I once fell for this whole big promise that the admins would actually reach out to me regarding the threats and hate speech happening over in the Religion sub—but nope, they never did. Total radio silence. I guess the thread is still floating around somewhere in here, though.

Well, whether it’s good or bad news, that thread actually got nuked. There was a massive blowout over the whole LSD situation and all the drama surrounding it. After that, I actually started getting death threats from one of those trolls. Someone even doxxed me! This was all going down about a year ago.
Setting that aside, this person "enky" has totally lost it, along with a few other weirdos here just trying to work through their issues.
Let's be real—this individual is still out there threatening people with lawsuits and hacking servers, not to mention physical threats, though those happened off the forum rather than right here. Just remember how many users got private messages where someone was straight-up accusing a user of murder.
p.s. Regarding that LSD discussion, I'm definitely not trying to push drugs on anyone. Plus, there's actually someone in that thread who works for the FBI, so the conversation stays pretty high-level.
As for this "soul-searching" nonsense from enky, I honestly think she’s just fear-mongering to keep the spotlight on herself. If there's any illegal activity happening on this forum, like drug sales, my money is on her being involved.

When it comes to talking about LSD, I believe I have every right to share my perspective with some logic behind it. I don't see that as promoting drug use, especially since I'm strictly against addiction and anything of that nature.

Thank God I don't give a damn about any "alternatives" or hallucinogens.
I haven't even read the thread, so I have no clue if they're actually promoting use here, but there are so many sites online dedicated to drug info and education that the FBI probably wouldn't even blink at the report mentioned above.
If young people are looking for something, I'd point them toward Healthline, but I won't even mention those "other" sites—just Google the keywords and you'll find them.

That information is provided to users primarily to prevent further harm, such as death or the spread of infectious diseases. Similarly, the content here consists mainly of shared experiences intended to mitigate negative consequences. You won't find this kind of material being handed out at a preschool or a high school. There will always be various types of commenters and comments, but one cannot claim the thread itself promotes abuse. We have moderation in place and mechanisms to report inappropriate comments; these are the tools meant to facilitate a civilized discussion. A blanket ban solves nothing and often proves counterproductive.👎
In any case, witch hunts are never the solution.👍
