Movies with creepy soundtracks and vibes

Right now, I can only think of The Exorcist: Emily Rose, Requiem for a Dream, The Spy, Zaselak, and Mysterious Signs (I still remember this one detail from that movie—how the dog's howling just suddenly stops Brrrr.... I think I saw a comment somewhere saying 'silence has never been this terrifying'). And since we're talking about M. Night Shyamalan (he's my favorite director), I have to mention Unbreakable. That music at the very end gave me chills when I watched it for the first time.

Japanese horror films from the 60s have such an incredibly eerie atmosphere—and honestly, most of that is thanks to the composer Takemitsu! You should definitely start with Kaidan, and then just let yourself drift into Free Will...
