Help! Need help with a sports name...

We’ve got this little makeshift playground nearby where they play this game called "bowling."

Basically, the setup consists of nine wooden pins and a ball that's tethered to a post by a rope. You grab the ball, swing it in a circle, and try to knock down all the pins...

I'm curious, does anyone know the actual technical name for this kind of bowling?

Also, if anyone happens to know the standard dimensions, let me know... we're actually thinking about building one ourselves at home.
