Nicole Barrett69 said:Look, saying you can lose weight through hormones is just fairy tales for kids; hormones might drastically change how you look, but they aren't a tool for weight loss.

The body balances its own hormones naturally—it’s just a process that usually takes about six months to a year.

Don't take this personally, but I honestly think you're either incredibly misinformed or simply struggling to grasp the logic here—if it isn't that, then there might be a psychological component at play. Just think about it for a second.

I mean, why do women even have male hormones in their systems? Did they just wander in by mistake?
Using hormone blockers for purely aesthetic reasons—well, if a woman had a massive hormonal imbalance or an excess of testosterone, I'd get using them for medical reasons, since that's likely what they were designed for—but it feels like we're acting smarter than nature when, in reality, we barely understand how the human body actually works.

Comparing makeup to blocking essential chemicals in your body for looks is, in my opinion, ridiculous—even if the comparison is a bit of a stretch—and it's just as nonsensical to compare the "naturalness" of hair removal to blocking vital hormone groups just because someone felt like doing it.

It's as if we aren't already sick and toxic enough without adding more problems and taking unnecessary risks.

History finished medical school, if I remember correctly, and she’s actually on those same blockers herself, so I really doubt she isn't well-informed about this stuff...

I mean, we all have an appendix, and it doesn't exactly do much for us anyway... so if we can use the right dosage to fix certain things about our bodies—even if it's just for aesthetic reasons—without dealing with nasty side effects, then why on earth wouldn't we?
