I'm looking at a user profile here—no bans on the record, just a handful of points
But there's a clone involved

So, let's say for the sake of argument this clone gets banned

Does the original account, the one sharing the same identity, actually face any repercussions?😕

Yes, he's just a clone of a user who's already been banned. On a different note, I have to ask—whose clone are you, 🙂

so if a user has a clone
then it isn't actually the clone that's banned

but rather the original user whose clone got the boot

User A created a clone of User B. Then, User B got banned. Now, User A isn't permitted to post because their clone has been banned.

Look, if you get slapped with a ban on one account, you don't just get to hop onto your other ones and keep acting like nothing happened. It’s pretty straightforward.

Generally speaking, if you happen to manage multiple accounts, having one flagged usually means the rest will follow suit once they're linked.

As far as I know, running clone accounts isn't allowed here—if someone's caught using one, they should be permanently banned... both the clone and the original account included.
