Borat, Bruno, or Ali G in Da House?

Which of Sacha Baron Cohen's movies is your absolute favorite? They’re all freaking hilarious, but I’d definitely put Borat at the top of my list. Coming in at number two would be the somewhat underrated Ali G in Da House, followed by Bruno—though honestly, all three are total gems.

If you haven't seen all three films mentioned, there’s really no reason for you to weigh in on this thread.

OT: Borat and Bruno are top-tier—Ali G in Da House, however, is a sloppy, amateurish attempt at a feature. It's clear even Cohen realized that himself, which is why he pivoted his formula.

Man, Bruno was a total disaster!!! It was just pointless. I didn't crack a smile once. It felt so cliché and predictable!!!
For me, Borat was definitely the best one...

I agree, Ali G was a pretty rough movie, though I guess that might be my favorite character he's played.

I’ve always thought Ali G was such an iconic character—easily one of the best—but I have to admit, the movie itself felt pretty poorly executed.🙂

I couldn't agree more. It’s honestly such a shame that such a brilliant character got stuck in a mediocre movie. He really needs to bring that persona back—he could pull off something much bigger with him!

Ali G is easily the best character they've ever done, but honestly, those Borat and Bruno movies did all the heavy lifting when it comes to massive promotion... which really just goes to show how much of a success they actually were

In my estimation, Ali G is at his absolute peak not through his feature films, but rather within those specific sketch comedy segments😁
