Once I start a thread... how do I check if anyone has replied? Does it show up somewhere immediately, or do I have to go hunting for my own post to see? Please help, I'm new here and still figuring things out.

Quick fix: Check your Subscribed Threads or head over to your options office to see what you have set under the default Thread Subscription mode. Make sure it isn't just set to "do not subscribe".

There are a few ways to track it down:
1. You can just head back to the specific subforum where you posted; if you see an icon like this => , it means there's a fresh reply waiting for you that you haven't read yet. There's also this icon => , though that usually doesn't pop up until a thread hits about 50 replies or 500 views.

2. Within your own thread, go to Thread Tools and select "Subscribe to this Thread"—you can set it up so you get an email notification whenever someone drops a comment.

3. Or, you can just bookmark the page in your browser so you can jump right back to it with one click.

That should do it. Best, 🙂
