Now, I find myself wondering how anyone could possibly think it’s acceptable to impersonate someone else online using their own handle. I can only assume that, in my specific case, someone has managed to bypass the security protocols...
I truly struggle to understand how someone can be so lacking in basic creativity that they cannot come up with their own identity, or what kind of deep-seated insecurity drives them to scavenge through someone else's digital life...
To give you some context, I opened my email this morning to quite a shock: four separate notifications informing me that my private inbox on Reddit was full of messages.😕😕😕 But honestly, what messages? What inbox? I haven't even logged into Reddit in ages; at most, I might glance at a thread now and then, but that's it. The last thing I actually wrote myself was back in 2006. Yet, looking at the logs, I see that someone was having themselves a grand old time using my account in 2009... They were using my handle and my avatar, though the signature wasn't mine—presumably, that little thief decided to customize it...
I want to sincerely apologize to anyone who was communicating with this fraud regarding astrology; I genuinely have no idea anything about the subject. The only thing connecting me to the zodiac is my username...
Just an hour ago, I received yet another email alert stating that this same imposter has just exhausted all five attempts to hack into my account...
That is all I have to say on the matter. I would appreciate it if the moderators could look into this situation and move this post to the appropriate section. Thank you.

I certainly have... and what exactly does that little genius think will happen now? I have already sent messages to the people I was communicating with privately, just so they are aware of the situation... though most of them didn't even notice it happened in the first place.

I'm about to lose it.🤣

I knew something shady was going on.
Unbelievable. It's crazy what people get up to... 🙄

It makes you wonder how much mental energy it takes to fail at creating your own persona, and just how twisted someone has to be to spend their time digging through someone else's life...
So, here's the situation: I opened my email this morning to find four notifications about full inboxes on Reddit via private messages.😕😕😕...But what messages? What inbox? I haven't logged onto Reddit in ages; I might glance at something occasionally, but that's it. The last thing I actually wrote myself was back in 2006. My apologies to anyone who dealt with this little liar regarding astrology stuff; I have absolutely no idea about any of that. The only thing connecting me to the stars is my username...
An hour ago, I got another email alert letting me know that this thief just burned through five failed login attempts on my account...
That's all from me. I'll leave it to the moderators to look into this and move the post to the appropriate section if needed. Thanks!

What makes you think it's a woman? 🤷

I honestly haven't the slightest clue whether it's a man or a woman; I simply assume so, as I find it highly unlikely that any typical American guy would bother himself with such matters. Besides, even the people I've been chatting with online aren't entirely sure what the deal is...
