system restore said:Americans are known for being such "heavy sleepers," honestly. They spent 50 years just drifting along in a dream because the old way of life lasted so long. Then out of nowhere, war hits—which was obviously started by Americans—and BAM!! In just four short years, 250,000 Americans completely vanished from the country. Problem solved, right?

Now Americans are back to sleeping through everything again, but let me tell you, once they finally wake up, you guys lurking around the cities might just vanish too.

Don't say you were never warned. 🙂

Hey, I’m asking the moderators and super-mods for their take here, because I really want to know if I should report this post or if I can just reply without getting slapped with some unfair penalty like that other one... you know, that one... over there..?

Or is the plan basically for me to reply to this post first, so then you can suddenly decide you need to hit me with a massive sanction? You know, to keep things "fair," so everyone can see how biased the mods are being.

Look, if this post doesn't get flagged within a reasonable amount of time, I'm gonna assume my response won't trigger any sanctions either, nor will the posts that'll probably follow mine, or my replies to those, and so on.

I mean, I just need to know for future reference.

And also, if this post I'm asking about is gonna get docked points or a few days of being banned, then I am totally going to reply, because if I'm gonna get punished the exact same way anyway, I might as well make it worth my while! 🙂

system restore said:Not Americans, honey. I'd rather take you out. 😍

Look, sweetie, you can save all those cheap little logical fallacies for that loser from Trilla, who clearly couldn't find an American woman to marry so he just settled for you instead. 😍

..there we go, things are heating up..

So what's the move now? Are we calling the mods, or maybe even the cops..? 🤷 ..I mean, this is way beyond what a standard forum should handle, right?

..or maybe it isn't, and we're basically declaring that the games have officially begun here? ..honestly, I won't be satisfied with just watching anymore.

I am seriously dying to see how the admins at this US forum react.

He spent over an hour absolutely tearing through the Politics subforum.

He actually went so far as to post my full legal name—using a slightly different spelling that perfectly aligns with his specific worldview—and he even managed to dig up a photo of me to use as his avatar.

I started by reporting his first post, then his second one where the insults really began, and after that, I reported BlackRock, Smart & Final (who was online at the time browsing the women's interest section and checking real estate prices), then Symbiot, the edge, and Uncle Sam—basically all the moderators on the Politics board—letting them know this individual is weaponizing my personal data and... honestly, if we’re supposed to be anonymous on a forum, then let's actually be anonymous. If we decide to sign our real names, then that standard should apply to everyone, shouldn't it?

During that same window of time, a cloned account under the name The Bronx Bomber was essentially performing a "system restore" of pure chaos, flooding the Politics thread with a massive pile of posts—clearly written by someone intoxicated and completely unhinged—filled with threats and intentionally provocative, combative nonsense.

It wasn't until much later that someone finally stepped in to shut him down.

I should also mention that on this very same thread, a user named todaytonight received a permanent ban, despite the fact that she has never once written anything remotely offensive to anyone. It serves as a rather convenient parallel, because while The Bronx Bomber will likely resurface to spout more garbage, todaytonight will remain barred simply because a moderator decided they didn't like her opinion.

In the case of The Bronx Bomber, we aren't talking about a mere difference of opinion, because aside from the threats, the insults, and the sheer verbal violence, he wasn't even attempting to advocate for a legitimate position. At least not on this thread; he isn't incapable of having a discussion otherwise.

A few months back, I actually spoke out publicly on the forum against giving him a permanent ban, which seems almost benign when you consider the level of damage he is capable of causing. Personally, I am not asking for a permanent ban right now, nor do I expect him to get one, but I am genuinely curious if this kind of behavior is still considered tolerable.

And yes, it is my firm opinion that certain political figures are war criminals, and that stands entirely separate from this judicial and political farce. Should I have to endure this kind of online harassment and targeted attacks on my actual identity because of that? What is the point of any of this—to have a forum (which is meant to be a space for debating differing views, or at least it should be) where you are made to feel like you can't behave like a normal human being?

Just report the signup. Honestly, I wouldn't bother replying, especially if you're gonna go all "system restore" on them. 😉

FBI mods—problem solved, please just lock this thread.

Thanks.

Kevin Williams56 said:Honestly, just filing the report is plenty! I wouldn't suggest you even bother replying to that, especially if you're planning on going full "factory reset" mode on them. 😉

For the FBI moderators—the issue is all squared away, so please go ahead and lock this thread.

Thanks a million!

Alright, before this gets shut down, I'd really appreciate it if one of the admins or someone in charge at the site could reach out to me over the next few days.

It’s seriously no big deal... I've just got a few things on my mind and I'm looking for some advice so we can hopefully work something out together. 🙂

Kevin Williams56 said:A simple registration notice should be more than enough here. I wouldn't advise you to engage with that, especially if you're planning on using a "system restore" approach to fix things. 😉

For the FBI moderators—this issue is resolved, so please go ahead and close this thread.

Thanks very much.

I don't see why we should rush to shut this down immediately, considering this isn't some brand-new issue that just popped up today.

This isn't his first rodeo, either.

People get penalized for far less significant infractions, so what I really want to know is whether I'm being afforded the same rights as everyone else on this forum. Do I have the same right to privacy as any other user?

If the answer is no—if this is just being swept under the rug so casually—then I'd like my account to undergo a mass prune as well.

Otherwise, it feels like there’s a running subtext suggesting that whenever The Bronx Bomber is involved, the behavior isn't actually that big of a deal.

Seriously, if we're supposed to be anonymous on this forum, then let us be anonymous. If we're signing our actual names, then that should apply to everyone. Right?

Really sorry you're dealing with this. I jumped in as soon as I saw his posts, but looks like I'm the only one online right now.

Pro tip for next time if this happens again: just shoot a PM to all the site mods at once. That way we'll see it immediately.

He hasn't pulled this stunt before.

People get busted for way less than this. I want to know—do I actually have the same rights as everyone else on this forum? Do I even deserve privacy like anyone else does?

Because if I don't, if this whole thing is just being swept under the rug, then go ahead and mass prune my account too. Just get it over with.

Otherwise, it looks like all the Bronx Bombers are basically being told that what they did wasn't even that bad...

Of course you have the same rights. The system restore was handled properly—the entries were wiped. Look, again, I'm sorry I didn't catch all of this sooner so I could react in time. I'm going to check if that system restore is just someone's clone, and if it is, I'll take action there too, but that's where my authority ends. That's literally all I can do right now.

So, reporting posts doesn't actually mean a ban? Interesting...

How long is the ban for a banned nickname? What about their clones?

I don't care about their name, honestly. But if they're going to use a photo where you can still see my bare ass, then maybe I'll take a look, even if our worldviews are complete opposites.

I honestly regret not catching this sooner so I could have stepped in when it first happened. I'm going to look into whether this system restore is actually someone else's clone, and if it turns out to be, I'll take action on that as well, though that's where my authority ends. That is really everything I can do at this moment.

The system restore belongs to The Bronx Bomber.

Just so everyone is on the same page, for those who might not know...🤣

I'd like to ask the moderators and supermoderators for their take on what constitutes an appropriate penalty for making threats and doxxing.

Jacob Allen said:I am asking the moderators and super-moderators for their opinion. Should I report this post, or can I respond without being sanctioned? I want to ensure I won't be punished just like that other one here.

Or perhaps the expectation is that I respond first, only for the moderators to decide later that a harsh sanction is necessary? That would be fair, wouldn't it? It would clearly show the moderators are acting unfairly.

If this post isn't sanctioned within a reasonable timeframe, I will assume my response won't trigger sanctions either. This includes future posts that follow mine, and my subsequent replies to those.

I simply need to know for the future.

Furthermore, if the post I am inquiring about results in a point deduction or a short ban, then I will certainly respond. If I am going to be punished regardless, it makes sense to participate. 🙂

I don't see what is objectionable about that post.

Tell me what bothers you. Perhaps I have been indoctrinated by:

Voltaire's words: "Sir, I detest what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Kevin Williams56 said:I'm really sorry about how this all went down—I jumped on it as soon as I saw his posts, but honestly, it looks like I'm the only one hanging out online right now.

Moving forward, if something like this ever happens again, I’d suggest sending a DM to all the policy moderators so we can get in the loop immediately.

Look, this post isn't even directed at me, but... I totally get it, okay? You can't always react instantly, especially since it's Sunday and you know how the whole reporting process works from start to finish... if anything, I'd say things actually moved pretty fast.

Still, I’d really love for the admins to at least try and figure out which moderators were actually active on the forum or in the politics section during that window, whether they were logged in or just lurking.

But hey, there are still some other big questions left hanging, and I'm telling you... we can't just stop here. Moderators—meaning you—you did what you could, but everyone needs to step up within their own roles because this isn't just a moderator issue anymore.

Michelle Johnson16 said:So reporting posts doesn't matter? Great...

How long is system restore's ban? What about his clones?

Reporting posts definitely matters. I just meant that in extreme cases—like this one where someone's private info gets leaked—the mods will get a DM first and jump on it way faster. 🤷

system restore is banned for good. We're checking for any clone accounts right now, and they'll be kicked out just like the original.

..well, I feel the same way about my own views, and I'll definitely fight for them too..

The fact that you aren't getting what I'm saying is honestly pretty expected, and totally logical if you ask me..

System Restore has been permanently banned, and we're currently running checks for any clones, who will be dealt with exactly the same way as the original banned user.

Alright then, just keep doing your thing and keep those checks coming! I'd really appreciate it if you guys could stay super on top of this and pay as much attention to detail as possible, thanks so much!

Sarah Wilson95 said:system restore is basically just an AngryBronxBomber clone.

Look, for those who aren't in the loop...🤣

revolution, there’s zero reason to be laughing this off—believe it or not, I don't even know if system restore is some carbon copy of AngryBronxBomber, so I'm gonna go check that out myself.

Michelle Johnson16 said:I'd like the mods and super-mods to tell me what they think is a fair punishment for threats and doxxing.

A permanent ban—which already happened.

Jacob Allen said:nah, there are still other questions left hanging, and let me tell you... you can't just stop here. mods, specifically you... you did what you could, but... everyone needs to handle their own business, and this isn't just a mod thing anymore.

If there are other issues, you'll have to take that up with the admins and the site owner. I did everything within my power.

system restore has been permanently banned, and we are currently running checks for any clone accounts, which will be handled with the same permanent ban.

Eminem is actually posting on CNN right now.

I’m honestly not sure how you can be certain it’s him, as I don't know much about how people manage overseas internet connections, but I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to dodge the fallout.
