So, here’s my take on the whole thing...

Because of one single sentence from our dear moderator over at D PalmeSutra, I ended up getting slapped with 45 penalty points over two months. Why? Because apparently, according to him, I was "offending" the ladies on this Forum!!!

The topic was: Bedwetting in older kids.
- I shared my own experience, and suddenly the accusations started flying—insults, everything...
- Then comes the report. The moderator wipes out all those insults, but then, just a few hours after deleting them, he hits me with 45 points for a post that was deleted ages ago. Of course, there's no evidence left now of what was actually being said.

- Long story short, after years of dealing with a kid who wouldn't stop wetting the bed, I finally snapped one day. I lost it on him, told him I was done, and that I wasn't going to be changing his clothes anymore... This was like 10 years ago. Honestly, I don't even remember exactly what I said.

- Anyway, people started throwing all this nonsense at me. Calling me Fritzl, saying I was abusive, pitying my poor kids, calling me mentally unstable... they even brought up how I'm supposed to be a devout believer and yet act this way toward my child... (for the record, I never laid a hand on him)

- Then, copperrider20 starts lecturing me about the Law. You know the drill: "The Law says this," "The Law says that," "We have to give children everything," "Children should be catered to..." just a few lines of that stuff.

- My response to all that was: I guess I'll just write my own version of that (referring to that Law which supposedly gives a kid the right to get whatever they want, even when you can barely afford bread, and insists everything has to revolve around the child)

- In no way, not in a single word or fragment, did I direct anything at any specific person on this Forum, let alone insult anyone.

- I've been filing appeals for days now, but nobody even bother than
responding.

- It’s more than obvious that the moderator messed up, but no one has the guts to say anything.

- I actually have some proof (thank God I learned how to take screenshots from those helpful users, so I have evidence)

Here is the first part, where I'm being attacked by unnamed people and gave my response.
http://i40.tinypic.com/35lt5ag.jpg

And this is the only reply from the moderator:

http://i40.tinypic.com/2yknv6a.jpg

In my opinion, this isn't offending anyone (just some stupid Law, which has nothing to do with the Forum or its members)

I’m looking for someone to explain this to me, because I am not walking away from this blatant rudeness and corruption.

Since no one is reacting, I'll try it this way...

Someone should probably pin one of these to this thread—just to address the tone used under every level and to give a little nudge to anyone who happens to wander in here by mistake...

Excuse me???
What exactly am I doing wrong with my "expression"? Look, everyone should just do their jobs and answer the questions. We shouldn't have to start new threads constantly, but when there's total silence for three days straight, what else am I supposed to do?

It seems like everyone’s just eager to post warnings. If you wandered into the wrong place, maybe you should've actually read the content before jumping in with your commentary. Personally, if someone hands me something, I'll read it, but I won't always comment. Honestly, if I actually cared about how everyone talks or acts, I'd be typing all day long, but I just don't have the energy...

As a global moderator, I know the rules of conduct inside and out. So, let's skip the lectures on behavior and "tone" around here moving forward...

Please don't take this as me trying to lecture you on etiquette—I certainly don't want to be misunderstood—but I honestly feel that complaining about moderators or disciplinary actions is largely futile. Even in those instances where a moderator might be mistaken and you are actually in the right, there is simply no way to change the outcome. In my experience, it is incredibly rare to see a decision overturned. It often feels as though there is this pervasive assumption that the moderators are infallible in their enforcement, while the users are always at fault. We all know that isn't strictly true, of course. Personally, I think that opening a discussion thread to vent, as you have done, is an understandable reaction, but I find myself wondering: how much impact will it actually have? I suppose I might be wrong about that, but I truly wonder. 🙂

I’ve actually been handed a warning a couple of times when I didn't deserve it—which led to my points being docked by the mods later on. Honestly, there's no need to hold such a grudge against the admin team or the moderators. Sure, they mess up sometimes—we all do!—but if you file a solid, well-reasoned appeal, those bans or warnings will be cleared.
______________
Edit: Just went back and checked my record. Turns out I had three warnings pulled.

Just so we’re clear, posts aren't actually deleted permanently; it's just that regular users on the Forum can't see them anymore. However, the PDF moderators, the sub-mods, and the admins? They can still see everything. So, rest assured, there is definitely a paper trail showing exactly what was said and how it was written 🙂
.
And honestly, if you ask me, those 45 points you picked up seem completely unjustified. From where I'm sitting, it doesn't look like you were even attacking any specific user; it seems more like your statement was directed at the Law itself. 🙂

And honestly, I think you got hit with those 45 points for nothing. From where I'm sitting, it doesn't look like you were attacking anyone on this site; it felt more like your comment was aimed at the Law itself. 🙂

First off, those posts were cleared and settled this morning, only to be dug up from somewhere else a few hours later just to issue a late penalty. To me, that’s beyond rude. It basically tells the other moderator that they don't know how to handle their own business, which is pretty insulting to their work.

Plus, the guy hasn't even bothered to respond, even after being asked nicely for like... four days now.

And second, regarding that sentence she wrote—I was talking about that stupid American Law that gives kids every single right under the sun while being totally poorly drafted in reality.
The criticism was directed at the Law, not at anyone on this Forum.

On the Forum, it is forbidden to:

*
* justify or glorify criminal acts

The Law is like that all over Europe, and most of the rest of the world, too. Some places even have it stricter.

Look, the Law works that way all over America, and pretty much everywhere else in the world too. Some places are even stricter than us.

Can you just stop stalking me? And stop being such a nuisance? I know you're seeing him, but please, just leave me alone.

I mean, if you felt insulted because you sued me, then you're kind of just glorifying yourself here, aren't you? It wasn't even directed at you. I go out of my way to give you a wide berth, yet here you are, breathing down my neck constantly. Seriously, why don't you find some other target to harass? Can we just do that?

As for the Law and felonies... honestly, I couldn't care less about any of that. 🤣🤣

Look, if you felt insulted because you filed that lawsuit against me, you’re basically just blowing up your own ego. It wasn't even aimed at you! I go out of my way to give you a wide berth, yet here you are, constantly breathing down my neck. Seriously, go find someone else to harass. Sound good?

And don't even get me started on the Law and criminal offenses. I couldn't care less about any of that. 🤣🤣

WTF, I didn't sue you. I got hit with an infraction too, I just don't run around whining about it like a child. 🤷

And what do you mean, "seeing him"? Is this another one of your crazy conspiracy theories?

Look, no offense intended, but you are talking absolute nonsense. 🙄
The woman mentioned something that happened ten damn years ago—and we're supposed to send USATF to her front door because of that? Who is the crazy one here? ☕

"Felony"? Please. It’s hard enough not to laugh at that claim. She yelled at a kid once—she didn't hit him, nor is she constantly screaming at him—and suddenly, oh, we're discussing criminal activity? Give me a break; stop being so dramatic. 🙄

My neighbor screams so loudly every single day that the entire street can hear her, and God knows what that's doing to her kids (there are four of them, by the way), and this happens EVERY day. And yes, USATF certainly knows about it, yet I haven't noticed anyone stepping in to take her children away. Though, if you ask me, instead of taking the kids, they should just lock her up in a psych ward. Everything is Peaceful Canada when she isn't around. ☕

So much for USATF. 🙄

p.s. I am not justifying anything, but discussing "felonies" in this context is truly laughable.

Calling that a crime? Honestly, I can barely keep a straight face. She lost her cool at a kid once—didn't hit him, wasn't constantly screaming at him—and suddenly we're all talking about criminal charges. Give me a break with the drama. 🙄

Angela Flores76, this isn't a thread about your neighbors, your opinions on American Law, or child services (I have no idea why you even brought that up since nobody mentioned it).
I'm simply saying that suggesting threats and yelling as a "cure" for bedwetting—and then throwing out cult-like theories about why kids wet the bed (while not even following them yourself)—is wrong legally, medically, and humanly. Especially when it's coming from someone acting like the ultimate moral authority on so many other topics. 🤷

And yeah, Lindy, I got an infraction just like you did.

copperrider20 said:Angela Flores76, this isn't about your neighbors, and it’s certainly not about your take on American Law, or child custody issues—honestly, why are you even bringing that up? Nobody mentioned it.
My point is simple: suggesting that threats and screaming are valid "therapy" for bedwetting, and then layering on those cult-like theories about why kids wet the bed (while failing to even follow your own logic), is just wrong. It's wrong legally, it's wrong medically, and it's just wrong as a human being. Especially when it's coming from someone who acts like they're the ultimate moral authority on everything else. 🤷

And yeah, rapidrider3, I got an infraction too, just like you.

You don't know nearly enough about my life, let alone anything from over a decade ago.

If people look to me for moral support, there’s a reason for that. You have no idea what I do behind the scenes, or who I’m actually talking to privately here. You might be pretty surprised, or maybe... who knows.

I just don't get why you're so hell-bent on attacking me when I'm actively trying to avoid you. I just don't have the energy to mess around with nonsense or argue about things where I clearly hold a different view—I'd rather just keep those thoughts to myself.

So, once more, a public plea: just leave me alone. If you absolutely feel the need to comment, at least spare me the irony, the snide remarks, or the provocations.

Anyway, here's something a dear friend sent me via email (to me, this is a beautiful message):

Sometimes you just have to sit down and read

Moving forward, PŽK is adopting a zero-tolerance policy regarding insults>
You honestly wouldn't believe how much more we can actually get done—or maybe how much easier things become—when people just... I don't know, ask nicely for once? It’s simple, really. Any threads where moderators are being insulted, or where people are demanding specific actions from the admins, are just—well, they're unacceptable. Your thread (and let's be clear, this applies to any individual post too) cannot contain any provocations or even the slightest hint of an insult. If a moderator, super-mod, or admin (let's just call them the m-sm-a from here on out) spots a thread violating this rule, it will be shut down immediately. Complaints, even if they are actually valid or justified, simply won't be considered if they are presented in an unacceptable manner. There aren't going to be any exceptions to this rule, period. Furthermore, for anyone engaging in insults, trolling, or off-topic rambling, the penalties on PŽK will be significantly harsher than on other sub-forums, as soon as the m-sm-a catches wind of such behavior.

You wouldn't believe how much can actually get done—or how much easier it is—when you just ask nicely for once. Threads where people insult moderators while demanding action from admins are officially off the table. Your thread (or any post, really) can't contain provocations or even a hint of disrespect. Any thread breaking this rule will be shut down the second the moderators, super-mods, or admins (let's call them the m-sm-a from now on) spot it. Appeals, even if they actually make sense, won't be considered if they're presented in an unacceptable way. There are no exceptions to this. Plus, for insulting, trolling, or going off-topic, you'll face harsher penalties here on PŽK than on other sub-forums the moment the m-sm-a catches you.

And who... are you, anyway?

I've been waiting days for a response from a moderator, but they're acting like they don't see anything and couldn't care less.
As for the admins, you might as well ask God, because they've been MIA for weeks.

And now you're trying to sell me this nonsense? Give me a break. If you actually have the authority to fix this, then fix it. If you don't, stop lecturing me about the rules; I didn't just show up yesterday.
It's driving me crazy, watching some random user try to talk down to me like I'm some kid. 😛
