Using "gonna" isn't an error.

"Gonna" is simply shorthand for "going to."

It works just like "wanna," which stands for "want to."

I’m not entirely sure, but perhaps it could be interpreted as "don't summer," implying a suggestion to avoid becoming too much like the season itself, or rather, to refrain from acting with the restless energy typically associated with summer.

We need an expert on this.

I’ve always felt like "gonna" and "wanna" were maybe 🤷have already seeped so deeply into the language that they're basically sitting right next to "don't" and "can't" at this point. They aren't even mistakes anymore, really.
