I was tucking a power strip under my desk the other day when I stood up way too fast and slammed my forehead right into the edge of the table. It left quite a bump, and for a few days, I had this nasty bruising spreading around my eye and just underneath it. It’s been about a month now, so the discoloration is gone, but there’s still this raised ridge on my forehead where the impact happened. If I run my finger along it, it feels like thick, hardened skin. Does this kind of thing eventually smooth out, or am I stuck with it? Any advice on what I should do?

Honestly, just sit tight and don't do a thing. There isn't much else you can really control here, and I have a feeling that, given enough time, things will just eventually settle back to where they belong on the equator.

It’s exactly what fadedmarlin402 was saying... they either walk away or they stay put. Either way, there isn't much you can actually do about it from where you're sitting.
