As I have previously stated, I have been using an e-cigarette for over a month now and I no longer purchase traditional cigarettes. In fact, the urge to smoke them has completely vanished.

An electronic cigarette serves as a much healthier alternative to a standard cigarette because it lacks the more than 4,000 harmful compounds produced by combustion. It simply delivers nicotine, which isn't inherently damaging to one's health; rather, nicotine is what creates the dependency and provides that specific sense of satisfaction associated with smoking.

To put it simply, beyond being a healthier option, it is more cost-effective and perfectly legal.

What I find truly puzzling is why more people aren't making the switch, as in these past two months, I haven't encountered a single person who also uses an e-cigarette. 🤷

And I see you're acting like you've got it all figured out at sixteen... Is this just some sales pitch? You know, advertising costs money... and you're definitely under the microscope right now.

That TV commercial is pure gold 🤣

I mean, look at this guy 🙏 smoking an electric cigarette 🙏
Absolute garbage—honestly, I’d buy one if they weren't such a rip-off. 🙏
How much does that even run you, like 200-$100?

Look, I think people would actually know what they're buying if the product was called an "electronic" cigarette instead of some misspelled version used for marketing. 🤷

Then again—maybe it's intentional... 😬
or maybe there's just a larger lineup of products. 🤔

I haven't come across that specific advertisement yet. Here in the States, prices typically range from $350 up to $233, whereas over there, you might see them starting at $300 and climbing much higher.

I noticed you’re discussing all of this as if you’re only sixteen... Is this perhaps a sales pitch? You have to remember that advertising costs money, and right now, your motives are being scrutinized.

I am not here to sell anything; my sole intention is to encourage people to think critically, as I have personally found this option to be incomparably superior.

Wait—what exactly ends up in the lungs? Nicotine, and what else?

As I understand it, the primary components are nicotine and some sort of propylene glycol that essentially generates the vapor, or the aerosol.
Here is a link to one of the most prominent English-language electronic cigarette forums, which should serve as a comprehensive resource for all the information you need:

Honestly, I don't get people who jump to conclusions like that; if someone is just trying to share their genuine experience, they shouldn't be immediately branded as a shill.
My husband is a heavy smoker and absolutely hates these new smoking bans, so when he heard about electronic cigarettes on the news last night, he was actually considering picking one up, though he’d much rather hear some real-world feedback from others first.

I’m smelling a rat right off the bat here... mostly because this looks like a blatant ad disguised as a discussion. We're shutting this down, but if anyone actually wants to dive into anti-smoking debates, just head over to the sticky thread we have set up for that.
