Good grief... honestly, as someone who actually studied a bit of chemistry, I can only facepalm at the sheer amount of nonsense people are posting here...

I mean, it really seems to me like you don't have the slightest clue about the subject matter you're even attempting to discuss.

Alright, let's assume we've actually nailed down what the problem is.

So, what kind of solutions are we looking at here?

Yeah, I’m right there with you on this. We’ve spent all this time figuring out which water is absolute garbage and definitely shouldn't be touching our lips. But honestly? That’s only half the battle. What I actually care about is... which water is actually worth drinking.

Hey everyone... Saguaro, great topic you've got here, seriously props for starting this thread...
I don't really have anything to add to what Dario Ri said, and Andrew Chavez2... thanks for those links, I haven't checked out those YouTube videos yet...

But like I was saying, there's not much more to add. As for the questions from Lisa Moore61 and Grace Campbell88—I've got answers, but looking back at how things go on this forum, I know how it is. You can praise any product you want, sure... but when it comes to water filtration solutions? Some people get so worked up about it, it's like they're taking it personally. It gets intense fast.

I’m not sure how much this will actually help anyone, but personally, I refuse to drink anything unless I get it straight from the source. Out here in Canada, there are plenty of springs that aren't tucked away behind private property, so every single week, I hop in my car and drive a few miles up toward the mountains to fill up my jugs at a local spring. Honestly? Compared to that, the tap water is just revolting. It sits heavy in my stomach, and there’s this unmistakable aftertaste—which is ridiculous, because by definition, water is supposed to be colorless, odorless, and tasteless. If you have access to any natural springs nearby, do yourselves a favor and start collecting your own.
