Hey there!
I've been dealing with diagnosed coxa valga since I was born. Growing up, my doctors were always pretty intense about it, constantly lecturing me about doing specific exercises, avoiding sitting for too long, and sticking to light weightlifting for my hips and stuff.
I'm curious if anyone else here lives with this condition? Has it actually held you back from anything significant? Personally, I don't really have issues unless I'm sitting way too long—like when I'm pulling an all-nighter studying for finals—and then I get some occasional aches.
I guess I'm wondering if I'm just getting lucky because I'm young, or if this isn't actually as big of a deal as everyone made it out to be.
