My brother is an alcoholic... I need help!!!

So, here's the situation... my brother started drinking back when he was 17, and now he's 24 and it’s become a full-blown chronic struggle. He’s actually willing to try treatment at a recovery community, but we're just lost on where to find anything like that here in the States. We're based out of Pittsburgh, so I'm wondering if there are any residential programs or sober living communities near Pittsburgh or maybe somewhere in the Midwest? Or just generally anywhere in the US that fits the bill. Does this kind of thing usually cost a fortune, or are there free options available? If anyone has leads or phone numbers for these types of places, I'd really appreciate it. He spent about 20 days in a psych ward recently before being discharged, and now he's home taking three different kinds of medication. I hope the moderators don't mind me posting this here; I wasn't quite sure which sub to use. Any help at all would mean a lot.

A support group for people in recovery from alcohol addiction was recently established over in Portland, so it might be worth giving them a call or even dropping by to chat with some of the members. I have a feeling they’ll have some really solid advice and could point you toward the right resources to get back on track..

addiction centers and rehab clubs are pretty much everywhere in most developed US cities now, but they mostly act like hangouts for people who've already finished treatment. For actual serious help, you really need to go to a hospital.
Regarding those "communal" programs, back in high school I was at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston at their addiction ward, and I sat in on one of their alcoholics' meetings.
From what I recall, they were locked in—I’d say a 21-day program, and by agreeing to it, there was basically no way out to just head home (people tried to wiggle out of it, but you can only leave if you have a massive, valid reason). They had different activities every day, mostly heavy sessions with social workers and facing the disease head-on.
There were people from all over the US, from coastal towns to the Midwest. They also recommend that family members show up to certain meetings.

If you call and ask for the number for McLean Hospital regarding psychiatry, alcoholism, and other addictions, they'll probably patch you through to the head nurse of the unit. You can ask her anything you need to know.
