Has any woman tried Finasteride (Propecia)?

My dermatologist prescribed these hair loss pills, but they’re actually meant for men dealing with prostate issues. My doctor was hesitant to write the script because of that. Has anyone here used this medication as a woman? Did it actually work for you?🙏
