Look, I’m hitting about 90 spam emails a day, though some mornings it feels more like a full-blown hundred. That’s just using my "junk" address—you know, the one I use exclusively for signing up for all those useless websites and random services over the years. It’s basically become a digital landfill at this point 🙂 On my actual, legitimate email address—the one I actually use for real life—I’m still getting hit with maybe one or two pieces of spam daily. Just enough to be annoying, but nothing crazy. What about you guys? Are you drowning in it or is your inbox actually behaving?

The one email I actually use for important stuff? Zero spam. That’s because I’m pretty selective about where I drop it. I keep one address strictly for the essentials. Then there’s this third account I used to use all the time a few years back—I was signing up for everything under the sun, and man, did the spam hit me hard. It became an absolute nightmare, so I just stopped checking it altogether. About six months ago, I finally decided to log back in because a buddy told me he’d sent me something incredibly cool to my Gmail account. When I opened it, I had something like 2,000 unread messages waiting for me. Out of those, 1,990 were just pure junk. 😁

gmail 👍
I have no clue what my actual take-home pay looks like since everything gets auto-deducted before I even see it.

I’m honestly stumped here... my Gmail keeps tossing them straight into the spam folder—maybe three a day? On my other account, I only really check it when it crosses my mind, and there are usually about ten sitting there waiting. In total, it's roughly 🥳

I handle about ten inquiries daily through my Gmail account, whereas I receive an average of three per month via my official work email.

I haven't received a single one on my Gmail account ever
On my other Gmail address, I used to get about three or four a day on average, but then everything just abruptly stopped. Or perhaps I'm simply failing to notice them since they're being filtered into a separate folder 😬.
As for my old MSN account: I don't even bother counting, as I only use that for signing up for various nonsense websites.

I’m getting these pathetic little "good luck" messages from my contacts—maybe thirty of them a day on average. It's honestly such a drag.
Meanwhile, the actual trash, like those "congratulations, you won!" scams or the weird "enlarge your size" junk, hits my inbox about once or twice a day...

On my primary account? Hardly ever. As for my backups, I rarely even bother counting. Honestly, at this point, it’s just more efficient to spin up a fresh email address than to waste my life scrubbing through junk mail.

With the main one, the second I spot a forwarded message, it’s gone. Deleted immediately.
I am their worst nightmare. 😁

For a serious email, maybe one or two at most. For everything else? Hundreds.

It’s pretty wild how my Gmail works these days, because I’m getting hit with about 50 spam messages every single day on the account I actually use for everything, yet the other one I keep strictly for signing up for random websites maybe gets two or three stray emails a month... It feels totally backwards, since you'd think the address I leave scattered all over the internet would be the one drowning in junk, but instead it’s just this🤣

I use Gmail or my fax machine's email for that stuff. I stick to others for anything else. The trick is you really have to hide your email address; if it’s just sitting out there on a website, some spyware is bound to grab it and toss it straight onto a spam list.

That’s 1,500 emails in less than a month... honestly, sure, most of them are just going straight into the trash without a second thought, but still—there’s such a thing as too much, isn't there? It’s just excessive.

I usually just check my messages on Gmail or use those ten-minute disposable accounts. 😍

About 50 spam emails across three different addresses
Maybe ten messages that actually make me smile
Roughly ten texts from friends
On average

I have no idea how many I'm getting since it all gets filtered out automatically.

🙏

I actually have my settings configured so the spam count never shows up, and the spam folder link doesn't stay bolded like there's unread mail inside. It basically acts like I don't have any spam at all.🙂

Not really much, just a handful every day. I mostly stick to Gmail. But on my old Yahoo account, I’ll get maybe ten or so daily. Half of those are just those mindless chain emails. You know the type—"help this person," "sign this petition," all that nonsense.
