Laptop mic not working

Hey everyone—if there are any of you out there! I was supposed to hop on a call with the Americans today, but it was a total disaster; they could hear me just fine, but I couldn't hear a single thing they were saying. Apparently, I needed to tweak some microphone settings, but—well, I had no clue how to do that. So, I'm posting a bunch of screenshots here to hopefully make it easier for you all to see what's going wrong.
I really appreciate any help you can give me.

I tried troubleshooting my microphone issues through there (I'm using Chrome), but I haven't had any luck yet.🕺
