How much cash do you guys need for a night out on a Saturday?

Hey there! I’m actually dying to know—how much does a typical Saturday night out run you guys? We were having a massive debate about this at home today. As you can probably tell by my current situation, I didn't end up going anywhere because my husband refuses to even step foot out the door unless he's got at least $167 tucked in his pocket! Honestly, it feels like a bit much to me—I’d be perfectly happy heading out with way less than that.
I’m really curious to hear your thoughts, especially from the married couples out there who actually make it out on the town!

Look, it really just depends on where you're heading 🤷. If you're grabbing dinner at a high-end steakhouse, even $1,000 might not cut it, but if you're just hitting up a local bar, $100 should be plenty. 🤷

You head to the movie theater and blow $33 just to grab a drink or something. Or maybe you go out for burgers or dessert. Honestly, why would anyone need more than $33?

Sometimes I feel like if I actually step out onto $17, it’s going to be an absolute nightmare... though other times, I find myself ready to just blow my entire paycheck...
In all honesty, I tend to spend whatever happens to be sitting in my pocket at the moment 🤷

I don't know... A couple of Saturdays ago, I ended up playing this game sponsored by some beverage company and I just kept drinking without actually spending any money. 🤣
I mean, how was I supposed to turn down a drink when they just kept coming? 🤷

Just to be clear... back in my twenties, I thought it was a fair deal when the cover charge cost as much as a whole ticket, especially since beer was dirt cheap 😁

I’ll hit up a local tavern to grab a few rounds of wine, then swing by the liquor store for a case—or sometimes just some heavy hitters—and head straight to the beach to just melt under the sun. After that, I usually end up at a bar just so I have an excuse to blow through some cash, but even if I only intend to spend $6.75, I always end up dropping like 100 to 200 bucks 🙂 instead.
