I absolutely love it... 😬 whenever I’m feeling down or just plain frustrated—honestly, sometimes I feel like I just need to smash something with my bare hands to feel better—it works wonders. I once completely tore apart an old wooden shed in my backyard, and let me tell you, I was in a fantastic mood for an entire month afterward! 😍

Well, just the other day, I was pulling a steel post right out of some concrete... so if you consider that part of the demolition process... anyway, I tend to enjoy it... provided things stay within reasonable limits...

get a kick out of smashing things that have outlived their usefulness. 👍 Nothing specific comes to mind right now, but you get the idea:

I'd much rather build something. 🤷 Destruction is exhausting, and compared to creation, it offers absolutely zero satisfaction. 🤷

Is there anything more fittingly dramatic than "Götterdämmerung"? It’s such an intense way to describe a total collapse—a literal twilight of the gods. Honestly, sometimes it feels like that's the only word left in the dictionary for the chaos we're watching unfold lately. Is it just me, or does everything feel like it's teetering on the edge of some grand, operatic disaster? kaže:
I'd much rather actually get something done. 🤷 Destruction is just exhausting—and honestly, compared to actually creating something? It’s not even remotely satisfying. 🤷

I’ve always found both sides of this pretty entertaining. There was something about that demolition phase—around age 11 to 14—that just hit different. If my memory serves me right, I managed to tear apart two houses before they were actually leveled, scavenged maybe two or three cars for parts, and left a trail of broken TVs, washing machines, streetlights, and hundreds of glass bottles in my wake. 🤔

The local transients didn't have much to scavenge from all that massive pile of trash over in my neighborhood. 😬

You men 🙄 🤣
Come on, explain to me—where is the thrill in that 🤷?

Think back to something else. Like when you spent days racking your brain trying to figure out how to make something turn out exactly how you envisioned it. When you were sketching, spilling coffee all over your blueprints, pacing around like some tortured poet lost in your own vision. Remember that feeling when you finally pulled it off and experienced a total, cosmic rush? 😁
Now compare that to a slingshot and a half-broken glass bottle. 🤷
Kontash?

The local scavengers didn't have much to pick through given the massive amount of junk in my neighborhood 😬

BTW, since you’re listing everything you broke—why don't you get specific about your "creative" side 🤷!

Personally, I love that sound when you set a house, a forest, or an island on fire 😍

🤣

OP: I don't know, I just like popping those little bubbles on bubble wrap (you know what I mean😬) 😍
or hitting a heavy bag😍 I am quite orderly in how I vent my excess energy🙂😁

Go ahead—explain to me where the thrill is in 🤷?

Think back to a moment—maybe when you spent days obsessing over a project just to get it perfect, sketching away, spilling coffee all over your blueprints, wandering around like some tortured poet lost in your own head. Remember that feeling when it finally clicked and you experienced a total, cosmic rush of dopamine 😁

What kind of logic is that?

By that same reasoning, I could bring up anything—sports, sex, whatever—and claim that because one feels better than the other, they’re somehow comparable. 🤷

They are completely unrelated things; there's zero sense in pitting them against each other. Back then, besides getting into trouble, I was busy playing tennis, building amplifiers from scratch, coding, reading books. Everything had its own way of being fun.

The only real one. 🙂

Quite the opposite. Even though they’re opposites, they’re actually bound together by a shared sense of satisfaction.

Well, here's the thing....
there used to be this kind of therapy designed specifically for people who just have an overwhelming urge to smash things up.
I remember hearing about it being available in either the States or maybe over in Spain—honestly, I can't quite recall which, though it was ages ago now.
The idea was to load up a bus with folks who are feeling incredibly stressed, give them a bunch of stuff to break, and then head straight to the landfill.
Each person would "take care of" maybe four or five cars by smashing out windows or destroying whatever else they could get their hands on.
Then, they’d just hop back on the bus and head straight home.
People actually swear that it works wonders....

As for me, I usually just stick to breaking glasses..... and I have to say, I'm pretty good at it. 🙂

Remember that scene in the show with Malcolm where Hal—can you believe it?—spent his entire life savings just to rent an asphalt roller for a single day? He took the whole year off just to spend hours crushing everything in sight 🤣

He had such a look of pure, blissful satisfaction while doing it... so, honestly, it might actually be worth trying 😬

This isn't even a real forum...
By the time this whole wave passes, you'll finally get signed up.
It really needs to be something... like an immediate, total reset...
For instance, I would give anything just to be able to trigger one single nuclear reactor😬
I'd be in awe for the rest of my life, and honestly, there wouldn't be any more stress to deal with.

yeah🙏😁

though I suspect there’s more satisfaction to be found using nothing but your bare hands...😁

Oh yeah... I live for this...
Nothing beats the feeling of smashing a glass or "accidentally" breaking a window. 😬
