Seeing spots in my vision?

For a few years now, I’ve been noticing these little specks of color floating around at night—purples, greens, you name it—and I honestly just figured it was some weird thing everyone deals with once it gets dark. But lately, I’ve realized I can see them during the day too if I really focus, especially when I'm staring at a plain, solid surface like a white wall... It doesn't actually bother me much and I've kind of just gotten used to living with it, but I have to admit, I'm starting to get a little worried...
They're tiny little dots, I'm not sure if I'm even describing them right

I start seeing these little spots floating around whenever I haven't eaten anything for a while—plus, if I’m feeling wiped out or haven't caught enough sleep. When that happens, they get super intense.
