Urine and acne: Does it actually work?

I feel like I’ve tried absolutely everything under the sun for my acne, but honestly, nothing is working... I stumbled upon this article and figured it might be my absolute last resort. Does anyone here actually use urine as an acne treatment? Did it actually do anything for you? Just to be totally clear: my skin is a disaster right now. Maybe you should get your hormones checked to see if it might be PCOS?

I'd suggest starting with a dermatologist, then maybe an OB-GYN, and eventually an endocrinologist... if they can actually get you in on the schedule... and if that doesn't work... I guess you could try a urine test, though there are probably much better ways to go about it...

Yeah, urine is generally sterile. But it’s easily contaminated. The second it leaves the bladder, it's out in the Earth atmosphere filled with bacteria.
