Urgent help needed with Adobe Dreamweaver

So, I went ahead and bought a domain, and lo and behold, they tossed in this little software package along with it... but honestly? I am completely lost in this thing. Like, truly, utterly clueless. Does anyone out there actually know how to navigate this without losing their mind? It’s kind of an emergency because my site is just sitting there totally dead, and to make matters worse, I didn't even get any instructions or a manual to follow—which is just great, isn't it? If anyone happens to know of some other, much more user-friendly program online that won't break the bank—maybe something actually free—that would be absolutely life-saving!🙂

Wix turned out to be absolutely wonderful... you can handle everything right through your browser, or if you prefer, you can just pick up an installation at Best Buy and work from the comfort of your own home. It does get a little pricey when you're ready to actually launch the site and host it online, costing about $67. I'm curious about how effective Adobe Creative Suite 5.0 actually is for putting together a basic corporate site. I've used Joomla before—is Adobe in that same league?

Well... honestly, Joomla feels more advanced given the sheer amount of effects it offers. That said, Adobe is straightforward—you can get things done quickly depending on what you're actually aiming for.
I've used older versions of Adobe, and for my specific needs, they were perfectly fine.

Man, I remember when I first got version 5.0... I was so frustrated. I saw some people online talking about getting scores of nine or ten out there... I just sat there staring at my screen, totally lost.

Of course, once I finally downloaded Dreamweaver later on, I actually figured things out after messing around with it a few times.
