It’s honestly because every once in a while, some high-and-mighty woman shows up on this John Doe thread, convinced she’s the absolute center of the universe. She acts like she’s going to totally reshape the whole sub-forum, thinking hundreds or thousands of us ladies hang out here just for her. She thinks she can dictate what we can say, what we should talk about, or what topics are "appropriate"—as if we all live by her personal set of rules and whims.
..we've dealt with all sorts of eccentrics over the years—one lady who would shut down threads just because she couldn't stand people mentioning kids, another who took offense at something else entirely, a third who thought a certain topic was just "tacky," and so on... she wants us to chat one way, then turns around and demands we talk another way. Why do some people write certain things, or why do others use words she finds "unpleasant"? (Good grief, when I remember the names you all used to throw at the moderators... honestly, it felt like we were living in an outpatient ward at a mental hospital 🤦)..

...the bottom line of the story —after all those endless arguments and clashes that even someone like Anderson had to step into, it was decided that moderation on the John Doe thread would be much more relaxed compared to the rest of the forum.
Not exactly without any rules or boundaries, but meant to be a "light" version.
Over the years, that has included everything from "you idiot" and "get lost" (copyright ☕) to "screw you"... basically, typical lady behavior, right?
People would fight, make up, apologize, and everything would just work...
..at least until last year, when Cats showed up and, thank heaven, told everyone to back off and took over moderating the front end of ZK. Then we were left with Zlee, who has just kept riding our backs with that condescending tone of hers.
The woman actually banned a user on the John Doe thread just because she mentioned wanting to charm a celebrity like Julia Roberts 🙏
