Buy a car, get a free handgun!!!

General Motors, an auto dealership based out of Buffalo, Missouri, just rolled out a pretty wild incentive for anyone picking up a new ride from their lot.

Basically, General Motors is letting every customer pick between two different rewards: either a $250 credit card specifically for gas or—get this—a handgun.

The owner, Mark Mueller, mentioned that most people actually opt for the gun, and apparently, car sales have quadrupled since he introduced this little promotion.

So, I was thinking... you can actually grab a handgun along with the car. Honestly, that’s not even a bad deal if you think about it. It’s basically a top-tier setup. Like, if you try to ram some other driver with your car and just can't quite take them out, you can just hop on the gun and finish the job without ever having to step foot outside the vehicle. And man, imagine what you could do to a pedestrian. Or even better, if you manage to wreck another driver with your car but aren't totally sure they're dead, you can just wrap things up with the pistol... I mean, seriously, how could General Motors come up with anything stupider than this??? They absolutely did not need to include this. They should have just taken that cash and put it toward better fuel efficiency or maybe some actual passenger safety features for their cars. 🙂

Look, if he really wanted to go out there and cause some chaos, it was honestly pretty stupid of him to pick those specific weapons. I don't know if people have already died, but if this happened here in the States, you'd probably see 300 shootings on the streets every single day. Maybe things are calmer over there (though I highly doubt it), maybe they don't deal with as much traffic (doubtful again), or maybe they aren't constantly honking at each other and losing their minds behind the wheel like we balkanac do 😬. If he actually wanted to give something back, he could've just thrown in two joints with every car sold to help everyone chill out a little 😁

And honestly, just because he's handing out guns to buyers doesn't mean homicide rates are going to spike. A murder is a murder; it’s still going to be prosecuted exactly like it always has been. Nothing has fundamentally changed there. Besides, I highly doubt anyone is going out to buy a new car just because they want a handgun; you can pick up a cheap piece anywhere for next to nothing.
